Quarantine Zoning: What You Need to Know

The new adaptive quarantine rules, according to which Ukraine was divided into four zones, went into effect on August 3.

On September 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine changed the order and rules of quarantine zoning:

  • in the “green”, “yellow” and “orange” zones, the rules for holding cultural events have become the same;
  • In the “orange” area at the entrance of all the institutions to which visitors arrive, it will be necessary to indicate at the entrance the area of ​​the room, as well as the number of people that can be inside.

The State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies will make decisions about the zones every seven days. The decision to ease the quarantine in the region cannot be reviewed before 14 days.

“Red” zone: a list of territories

  • Ternopil Ternopil region,
  • Kanev, Cherkasy region.

Work is prohibited: public transport, shopping centers, cafes and restaurants.

Zone “orange”: a list of territories

  • the city of Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia region;
  • the cities of the Lutsk, Volodymyr-Volynsky and Novovolynsk, Volodymyr-Volynsky, Kivertsovsky, Lutsky and Turisky districts of the Volyn region;
  • the city of Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • the cities of Bakhmut and Ugledar, Slavyansky district of the Donetsk region;
  • The Zhytomyr, Korostyshevsky, Luginsky, Lyubarsky, Ovruchsky, Olevsky and Chudnovsky districts of the Zhytomyr region;
  • the city of Uzhgorod, Perechinskiy and Uzhgorodskiy districts of the Transcarpathian region;
  • the cities of the Melitopol and Tokmak, Orekhovsky and Pologovsky districts of the Zaporozhye region;
  • the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Burshtyn and Kalush, Gorodenkovsky, Kosovsky, Rogatinsky, Tysmenytsky and Tlumatsky districts of the Ivano-Frankivsk region;
  • the cities of the Irpen and Fastov, Baryshevsky and Kiev-Svyatoshinsky districts of the Kiev region;

  • the city districts of Nizhyn, Varvinsky, Kulikovsky, Nezhinsky, Nosovsky and Snovsky of the Chernigov region.

Work prohibited: hostels and campsites; restaurants, discos at night; gyms, fitness centers, cultural institutions (with the exception of institutions that can provide visits to no more than one person for every 10 square meters of room); camps for children; massive meetings of more than 100 people (one person for every 20 m2).

“Yellow” zone: list of territories

  • the cities of Zhmerynka, Kazatin, Mogilev-Podolsky and Khmelnytsky, Bershad, Vinnytsia, Kalinovsky, Kozyatinsky, Litinsky, Nemirovsky, Teplitsky, Tyvrovsky, Tomashpolsky, Trostyanetsky, Tulchnyinsky and Chechelnitsky districts of the Los Angeles region;
  • the city of Kovel, Gorokhovsky, Ivanchivsky, Kamen-Kashirsky, Kovelsky, Lokachinsky, Lyubeshivsky, Lyubomlsky, Manevichsky, Ratnovsky, Rozhishchensky and Shatsky of the Volyn region;
  • the cities of the Krivoy Rog, Novomoskovsk and Ternovka, Verkhnedneprovsky, Dneprovsky, Pyatikhatsky, Solonyansky and Tsarichansky districts of the Dnepropetrovsk region;
