On October 2, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Decree No. 420/2020 on Measures to Attract Entrepreneurs, Highly Qualified Specialists – Citizens of Belarus. This was announced by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers must extend the period of temporary stay of Belarusian citizens on the territory of Ukraine to 180 days a year. This applies to entrepreneurs, highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology and innovation, whose immigration is in Ukraine’s interests, and their families, according to the report.

“The government should introduce a pilot project on the simplified registration of residence permits for these categories of Belarusian citizens. At the same time, it is necessary to envisage the possibility of reducing the time to obtain such documents to three days without the need for additional travel abroad. of the Ukrainian territory, “said the PSU.
