Approximate area covered by fire exceeds 20 thousand hectares
By 10:00 a.m. on October 4, forest, reed and dry vegetation fires had been extinguished in outbreak No. 4 near the villages of Lobachevo and Geyevka and in outbreak No. 7 near the village of Bolotennoye.
The extinguishing of the fires that broke out on September 30 in the Lugansk region continues. This was announced on Sunday, October 4, by the State Emergency Service.
According to her, on October 3 at 7:30 p.m. A reed and dry grass fire was extinguished near the villages of Peschanoe, Nizhneteploe and Artem in the Stanichno-Lugansk region.
As of 10:00 on 4 October, forest, reed and dry vegetation fires were extinguished in outbreak No. 4 near the villages of Lobachevo and Geyevka and in outbreak No. 7 near the village of Bolotennoye.
Let us remind you that on October 3, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine made 162 discharges of 504 tons of water in the Lugansk region. Since the beginning of the extinction of the fires, 345 discharges of 1.15 thousand tons of water have been made.
About 2.5 thousand people and more than 210 teams were involved in the extinction, of which 700 people and 120 teams, including 3 AN-32P planes and 2 Mi-8 helicopters, were from the State Service for Emergency Situations. The works are carried out 24 hours a day.
According to preliminary estimates, the estimated area covered by the fire exceeds 20 thousand hectares.
