Unique pickets were held in Nizhny Novgorod, the participants of which accused the Russian authorities of the death of journalist Irina Slavina, who burned herself on one of the city’s streets the day before.

The protesters stood in one of the central streets with posters: “The state killed a man”, “Anger, we will not forgive them”, “Who killed him? This is how you killed.”
The daughter of journalist Margarita Slavina came out with the protesters. She wrote on a piece of paper with blue and red markers: “While my mother burned alive, you kept quiet.” The girl took with her a portrait of the deceased.
