This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the recording of the broadcast.

In the story about Poland, the television channel showed the caption “the former People’s Republic of Poland”, while the story of Lithuania was supposedly filmed in the “former Lithuanian Soviet Republic”.

The Stolichnoe TV channel is one of the three Belarusian national TV channels that broadcasts across the country.

Note that Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland did not recognize the results of the presidential elections in Belarus and the legitimacy of Alexander Lukashenko. Ukraine has also supported the personal sanctions of the European Union against the Belarusian regime and plans to join them.

Let us remind you that Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated that Ukraine would not impose economic sanctions against Belarus and explained the reasons.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine does not yet see any reason to sever diplomatic relations with Belarus.
