Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the capture of Madagiz village by the Azerbaijani army.
He wrote about this on Twitter.
“Today the Azerbaijani army raised the Azerbaijani flag in Madagiz. Madagiz is ours, ”he wrote.
Madagiz is located in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
Let us remind you that the fighting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops on the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh started on the night of September 27.
Azerbaijan and Armenia introduced martial law and announced the mobilization of the reserve. Both countries blame each other for the escalation of the conflict and declare casualties in combat and casualties among the population.
Ankara stated that it fully supports Baku in its desire to regain control of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At the same time, Russia, France and the United States issued a joint declaration calling for an end to hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
