Desna – Miner. Forecast and announcement for the championship of Ukraine

Both last season and in the current standings, opponents occupy places in the leading quartet, so the next showdown in Chernigov looks central in the round (along with the Dynamo – Zorya match). Furthermore, Shakhtar, who were failing in two straight away games, are certainly not very comfortable not being at the top of the table. There is no doubt that the spirit of the Pitmen will be scandalous for the last outing before Madrid. However, Desna’s motivation will also go off the scale, which never (8 games – 8 losses!) Took points away from Shakhtar. Time to bite the champion?

The Pitmen celebrated their latest away win in Chernihiv, scoring four goals against the Northerners. In the July match (2: 4) Desna were scored by Solomon, Tete, Maicon and Alan Patrick, while the hosts were scored by Andrey Gitchenko, who missed Desna’s last games due to illness, and Alexander Filippov, who was moved to Belgium. It is with the departure of Filippov that the failure of Alexander Ryabokon’s team in the Europa League qualification is largely attributed, although the rookie of the European Cups fought very worthily with the venerable Wolfsburg. And more importantly, the relegation of the League did not “hit” the team in the least: two subsequent victories in the national arena confirm this.

In the middle of the week, Shakhtar’s attention turned to the draw for the group stage of the Champions League, where selected rivals were being prepared for the charges of Luis Castro. The match against Lvov in the next round will become a so-called rehearsal before heading to Real, but in reality Shakhtar will probably simulate the game with the Spanish in Chernihiv; after all, Desna’s level is now clearly higher.

The same “Desna” played on Wednesday for the Cup with “Rukh”, beating the Lviv team for the second time in a row (the calendar has prepared the opponent two matches in a row – the cup next to the UPL match). The Northerners’ coaching staff experimented a bit with the line-up, and were probably satisfied with both the base players and the substitutes. Especially Maxim Degtyarev, who appeared in the middle of the second half and turned the game around with his double – 2: 1.

An additional intrigue of the match is the confrontation of several former Shakhtar footballers (to a greater extent, Shakhtar’s reserve teams) with their former club. The last player to move from the Pitmen’s location to the Desna camp was Mikhail Mudrik, who so far only addresses the new team, but another former Donetsk resident, Philip Budkovsky, after Filippov’s departure, is the max. Desna scorer. However, it is precisely this “mining” factor that will reduce the potential of the Chernihiv team, because under the terms of the leases, Mikhail Mudrik and Efim Konoplya will not be able to play against Shakhtar. Also, due to the damage, Kartushov, Arveladze, and the aforementioned Gitchenko are unlikely to appear on the field.
