“Tsygankov’s price after the Champions League can double or even triple”

Famous soccer coach Vyacheslav Zakhovailo commented on the results of the Champions League group stage draw for Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar.

– What do you think of the result of the Champions League draw for Dynamo and Shakhtar?

– Wonderful drawing all over the place. Finally, we will be able to evaluate at what level our clubs are. October-November will be fabulous for Ukraine: the national team will play France, Spain and Germany, while Shakhtar and Dynamo will play Inter, Juventus, Barcelona and Real.

Don’t be afraid of names. All teams are equal, and the game starts at 0: 0. With proper game organization and discipline, you can work wonders even against those opponents. I hope the Ukrainian clubs show their best side.

Another important nuance is marketing and commerce. Ukrainian fans received good posters along with UEFA’s decision to allow spectators to return to the stadiums. In addition, our players have the opportunity, in the context of serious rivals, to attract the attention of European clubs and increase their transfer cost. The price, for example, of Tsygankov, subject to successful performances in the Champions League, can double or even triple.

The spicy in the Dynamo group joins the meeting with Ferencváros, which is headed by former player and coach of the Kiev club Sergey Rebrov. This is an important topic, because in Europe only three Ukrainian coaches are talked about: Rebrov, Skrypnyk and Ryabokon. – On paper in the group stage, it looks like Dynamo and Shakhtar will battle for third places in their Champions League groups. Is this a real scenario?

– Don’t be afraid of the big names. The same people play soccer. I would like to remember the words of the subway and icon Valery Vasilyevich Lobanovsky: “Discipline and order always surpass the class.” If the Dynamo heed these words, the Kiev fans will be successful.

The psychological preparation of the players will play an important role. No one can say that Dynamo and Shakhtar are inexperienced European fighters. Soccer players at the national team and club level have played many games. I believe that Dynamo and Shakhtar will not fear eminent rivals in the Champions League. I’m glad we didn’t make it to the British clubs, because we are losing to the British in athletics. The same can be said of the Italians. With the Spanish it is easier in this sense, however, when they start to spin, our players have spinal “injuries” and dizziness.

This is what we saw recently in the match between the teams of Ukraine and Spain. To compete at this level, it is necessary to change the training system, especially in children’s soccer. Unfortunately, at a child, youth and professional level, our coaches only pretend to understand football, but in reality they hinder the development of the game.
