Meanwhile, last night at the Attorney General’s Office 11 deaths and 17 injuries were reported as a result of the fires in the Lugansk region.

Police said that during October 1, 50 people were questioned and recognized as victims, damage to 550 homes, 136 housing structures, 12 vehicles, 3 head of cattle were found dead.

In total, from September 30 to September 2, 267 complaints of fires were registered, investigators opened 10 criminal proceedings.

Currently, the region continues to extinguish fires in the Novoaydarsky, Starobelsky, Popasnyansky, Kremensky and Stanichno-Luhansky districts, in the city districts of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoe.

The GSChS notes that the most difficult situation has developed along the demarcation line in the Stanichno-Lugansk, Novoaydarsky and Severodonetsk regions, where 32 settlements fell in the affected area. At the moment, the extinction of seven main fire cells continues.

The fire destroyed and damaged more than 550 buildings and structures. As the fires were put out, 150 people were evacuated.
