Shmyhal named the amount of compensation to fire victims in the Lugansk region
The authorities will pay people 20,000 to 300,000 hryvnia, depending on the damage caused by the fire.
The Cabinet is ready to pay compensation to the victims of the fires in the Lugansk region up to 300 thousand hryvnia. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in a briefing on Friday, October 2.
The following payments are provided to victims:

300 thousand hryvnia – for a completely destroyed house;

200 thousand hryvnia – for a deceased relative;

50 thousand hryvnia – for partial damage to the house;
-
20 thousand hryvnia – if the farm is damaged.
“The government is ready to pay. The amount of funds from the state reserve fund will be allocated directly as soon as losses can be calculated,” Shmygal said.
He added that local authorities are also willing to pay compensation. 250 to 300 houses were damaged as a result of the fires.
Recall that 11 people died in the fires in the Lugansk region. 31 settlements are under fire threat. So far, only one of the top eight outbreaks has been liquidated.
