During the past day, the majority of new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Khmelnitsky, Sumy, Ternopil, Rivne regions, as well as in Kiev.
This is evidenced by data from the National Defense and Security Council.
Most of the new cases of infection were registered in the Kharkiv region: 460.
In Kiev, the coronavirus was diagnosed in 447 people per day.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a daily incidence record of coronavirus has been set – 334 new cases.
In the Odessa region, the disease was confirmed in 280 people.
In the Khmelnytsky region, 244 new cases of infection were found.
The Sumy region also saw a record number of new infections – 242.
In the Ternopil region, 229 people were diagnosed with coronavirus per day.
In the Rivne region, 216 new cases of infection were registered per day.
As of October 2, a new anti-record was set in Ukraine for the number of infection cases per day: 4633. 2,148 patients were recovered, another 68 died.
