The State Investigation Office (GBR) states that the information about the engine failure of the plane that crashed near Kharkov is not reliable. This was stated by the head of the State Investigation Directorate of the RRT Maxim Borchakovsky, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“There was information about the pressure drop of the torque gauge. And the information that sounds that the engine failed is not true,” Borchakovsky said.

At the same time, he stressed that all these circumstances are established during the technical investigation, which is being carried out by the main inspection of the Ministry of Defense.

We will remember, near Chuguev, in the Kharkiv region, on Friday evening, a plane crashed with cadets and officers on board. There were 27 people on the plane, including 20 cadets from the Air Force University of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kozhedub and 7 officers.

As a result of the crash of the An-26 plane, 26 people died. 25 people died on the spot and one from burns incompatible with life in the hospital. Another is being treated.

On September 29, in Kharkov, they said goodbye to cadet Vitaly Vilkhov, who survived immediately after the crash of the An-26 plane near Chuguev, but died in intensive care.

The farewell to the other victims of the plane crash near Chuguev will take place after the completion of the DNA tests.

It was also reported that experts have already deciphered the black boxes from the An-26 plane crashed near Chuguev. Investigators are considering three versions of the disaster: improper flight organization, pilot or human error, and technical malfunction.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries Oleg Urusky noted that the cause of the catastrophe could be a technical failure, which was superimposed by the human factor in its various manifestations.
