Users will be able to comment on the messages on the channels, as well as leave voice messages or GIF images.
The Telegram messenger has a comment function on the channels. Users will be able to use it after updating the application. This was announced on Wednesday, September 30, by the founder of the messenger Pavel Durov on his Telegram channel.
“Today we add a built-in comment function on channels. After updating Telegram, you will be able to leave comments on some channels, including this one,” the message says.
According to Durov, the comments will be similar to a group chat, that is, all comments will be attached to a specific channel. He also noted that commentators will be able to leave voice messages or GIF images, and channel managers will be able to impose restrictions.
As reported, a large-scale glitch in Telegram’s work occurred on September 25. Problems with login were observed, even among Ukrainian users.
Before that, in several European countries and the United States, there was a failure in the work of the social network Twitter. According to the service, 69% of users complained about the site’s failures.
