According to a CBS News poll, 48% of viewers named Trump the winner of the first round of face-to-face debate between the US presidential candidates President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden Biden. A CBS News poll showed that 48% of viewers consider Biden the winner of the debate, 41% Trump. At the same time, only 17% of respondents rated the discussions informative, most of them (69%) were upset with the event, 31% of respondents said they had fun with the discussions, another 19% – that they made them feel pessimistic.
Trump and Biden are running for president of the United States (Trump from the Republican Party, Biden from the Democrat). On the night of September 30, they held the first of three rounds of face-to-face meetings. It is clear from the calendar that the second debate will take place on October 15 in Miami (Florida) and the third in Nashville (Tennessee) on October 22.
The results of a poll conducted by the US radio station NPR, published on September 18, showed that 52% of voters are willing to vote for Democrat Biden and 43% for Trump. Reuters released similar poll results on Sept. 16: 50% of those polled supported Biden, 41% Trump.
The United States presidential elections will be held in November 2020.
