In Kiev, during the last day, 219 people were diagnosed with the COVID-19 coronavirus. This is almost two times less than yesterday’s figure. These data were published by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, on Wednesday, September 30.

“In the capital, the number of people from Kiev who fell ill with coronavirus has decreased slightly. During the last day, 219 patients were found. Eight cases, unfortunately, were fatal,” Klitschko said.

Also in the capital, the number of recovered increased: 157 people during the last day (48 yesterday).

Among the new patients, 108 women between 21 and 89 years old, 94 men between 18 and 79 years old, 11 girls between 4 and 17 years old and 6 boys between 5 and 14 years old. 10 doctors also fell ill. 33 people were hospitalized.

Most of the cases of the disease during the last day were found in the districts of Darnitsky (37), Dniprovsky (35) and Desnyansky (29).

As of September 30, there are already 22,778 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kiev. 381 people died from coronavirus in Kiev. 6,710 inhabitants of the capital overcame the disease.

Recall that during the last 24 hours in Ukraine, for the first time, more than 4,000 cases of COVID-19 were detected. This is a new anti-registration. 64 people have died. At the same time, a record number of 2,110 was also recovered.

The day before it was reported that in Ukraine no region is ready to facilitate quarantine. In all regions of the country, the permissible incidence threshold of 40 cases of infection per 100,000 people was exceeded.
