At the moment, 53 An-26 aircraft and their modifications are in operation in Ukraine, including 24 in civil aviation and 29 in state aviation.

According to the company, the oldest aircraft is 48 years and five months (1972), the youngest is 35 years and one month (1985).
As noted by “Antonov”, on most civil aviation aircraft An-26, maintenance is carried out in accordance with the regulations for maintenance of aircraft An-24, An-26 with a frequency of the basic form each 500 ± 50 flight hours.
In accordance with the regulations, the following types of maintenance are provided:
- operational maintenance;
- periodic maintenance;
- aircraft storage maintenance;
- seasonal maintenance;
- special maintenance.
“SE” Antonov “, as developer, performs a work of evaluation of the technical state of the aircraft in order to solve the possibility of extending the resources and the useful life of the aircraft structure. The individual working stages of the useful life are from one to two years. An An-26 aircraft can be individually assigned to all modifications a designated service life is 50 years, “says the message.
In addition, the company reported that the company’s specialists are constantly working on the modernization, updating and expansion of the airworthiness of the An-24, An-26, An-30, An-72 and An-74 aircraft in service in order to to ensure your safety. operation for two to five years, until they are replaced by more modern machines.
Antonov State Enterprise has developed an An-178 medium military transport aircraft and it is ready for delivery.
