Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko weighs 64.2 kilograms less than three weeks before the championship fight with American Teofimo López. Therefore, Lomachenko needs to lose three kilograms to stay within the required weight of 61.2 kg.

Vasily Lomachenko’s fight against Teofimo Lopez will take place on October 17 in Las Vegas. The Ukrainian can get the IBF lightweight title.

Lomachenko hasn’t fought since August 2019, when he defeated Luke Campbell by unanimous decision for the vacant WBC belt.

Lopez became world champion in December when he eliminated then-IBF lightweight champion Richard Commey in the second round.
