A patrol car in Kiev saved a woman from suicide
The woman resisted and the patrol inspector had to handcuff the woman to the railing.
In Kiev, a crew of patrol cars came to the call, where a woman intended to commit suicide. At the last second, the policeman managed to grab a woman who had jumped from the balcony. Video of the incident was posted by patrol officer Aleksey Beloshitsky on Facebook.
The woman stood behind the balcony railing and at any moment could make an irreparable decision, so the police officer ran to the 15th floor.
“The patrolman miraculously succeeded. Before his eyes, the woman released his hands and took a step. One second. But the instant reaction of the patrol officer Pavel Boyarchuk helped: he managed to take her hand and hold it,” the message says.
At the shouts of the patrol car, neighbors of the house appeared, two neighbors helped to hold the woman, two more stood on the 14th floor and supported their legs. The woman resisted and the inspector had to handcuff the woman to the railing for safety.
At that moment another squad of patrollers came to the rescue and, thanks to the joint effort of inspectors and neighbors of the house, the woman was dragged to the balcony. She was later hospitalized.
The message expresses gratitude to patrolmen Pavel Boyarchuk, Bogdan Dymchuk, Andrey Bobrovnik and Alexander Golovitsky, as well as to the citizens who came to the rescue.
Earlier it was reported that Kiev patrols in Kiev’s Darnytskyi district saved a man from suicide.
It was also reported that in Zaporozhye, a woman was hanging from the top floor of a nine-story building. Eyewitnesses filmed the rescue of the woman.
