Kachura considers the resolution adopted according to Fokine illegitimate.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee appealed to the president because Fokin “never once called Russia an aggressor.”
The Parliamentary Committee on the Organization of State Power, in a meeting on Tuesday, September 29, adopted a resolution on an appeal to the president with a request to remove Vitold Fokin from the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, reports PavlovskyNEWS.
As the deputy of the people of Golos Roman Lozinsky said, Fokin is asked to withdraw due to the fact that he never called Russia an aggressor.
In turn, public figure Elena Berezhnaya accused Lozinsky of lying, stating that there was no Fokin’s name in circulation.
The People’s Deputy of the Servant of the People, Alexander Kachura, corrected it, assuring that Fokin’s name is in the resolution. Although the deputy considers it illegitimate, since not all the adoption procedures were followed. There was no secretary or quorum at the time of voting. 3 deputies left the meeting and only 13 of the 14 needed remained. And the resolution itself was not included on the agenda.
Kachura also called Fokin’s recognition of state treason absurd, as there is no such court decision.
It should be noted that during the committee meeting, Fokin said that he had never been and would never be an enemy of Russia, and also that he did not see any confirmation of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
