Election of the mayor of Kharkiv: 15 registered candidates

15 candidates apply for the post of mayor of Kharkov. The decision on their registration was made yesterday by the Kharkov territorial electoral commission.

The corresponding decree was published on the website of the electoral commission.

So, the candidates for mayor of Kharkov are registered:

  • Alexey Kucher (from the Servant of the People party);
  • Gennady Kernes (“Kernes Block – Successful Kharkov”);
  • Georgy Lagovsky (“UDAR”);
  • Oleg Abramichev (“European Solidarity”);
  • Nikita Soloviev (Democratic Sokira);
  • Irina Denisova (“For the future”);
  • Sergey Kushnarev (“Palchevsky’s Victory”);
  • Igor Prikhodko (“Batkivshchyna”);
  • Alexandra Narizhna (The voice);
  • Alexander Feldman (“Opposition Platform: For Life”);
  • Igor Chernyak (“Svetlichnaya Block” Together “);
  • Valery Bezlepkin (self-proclaimed candidate);
  • Mikhail Dobkin (self-nominated candidate);
  • Natalia Pilipenko (self-proclaimed candidate);
  • Denis Yaroslavsky (self-nominated candidate).

It was previously reported that Kernes was nominated for mayor of Kharkiv, even though he is now being treated for coronavirus in Germany. Those around him say Kernes’s condition has improved significantly.

As a reminder, the deadline for submitting documents for registration as candidates for local elections ended on September 24.
