Honcharuk flew away, but promised to return.
The former head of government flew to the United States. Before that, he became an employee of the Eurasia Center analytical center.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk flew to the United States for several months to “look at Ukraine from a distance” and promised that he would “come back stronger.” He wrote about this on Facebook on Tuesday, September 29.
“The next few months I will spend in North America. Mainly in Washington. There will be many important things that will directly affect Ukraine. Another important front for the future of our country. And I have always wanted to look at Ukraine from a distance. Sometimes this it’s the big picture. It can be seen much better, because when you’re in the stream of our daily political garbage, emotions often take over, “wrote Honcharuk.
Why Goncharuk decided to move to another continent and what he would do exactly, he did not say, but noted that he would “share his thoughts” and “come back stronger”.
Recall that on August 29, 2019 Honcharuk became the youngest Prime Minister in the history of Ukraine. And on March 4, 2020, the parliament voted in favor of the resignation of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk. On the same day, a new composition of the government was approved, headed by Denis Shmygal.
On September 1, it was learned that Goncharuk will become an employee of the Center Eurasia analytical center, which is part of the US non-governmental organization Atlantic Council.
