The Armenian Defense Ministry said the Azerbaijani side lost 200 people dead

Azerbaijani troops suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment during the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian military department reported. The losses of the Armenian side are specified.

According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, some 200 people died on the Azerbaijani side during the fighting on September 27. The Artsrun Hovhannisyan department representative stated this in a meeting with journalists on September 27, News.am reports.

In addition, Azerbaijan has lost about 30 armored vehicles and about 20 drones, Hovhannisyan said.

The losses of the Armenian side are specified. According to the representative of the Defense Ministry, around 100 soldiers were injured, 10 of them were evacuated to Yerevan.

The unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Deputy Defense Minister Artur Sargsyan previously spoke at a press conference in Stepanakert about 16 deaths from the Armenian side.



Baku has yet to comment on the information about the victims of the conflict.

The conflict between the two states over Nagorno-Karabakh has escalated today. The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported on the bombing of peaceful settlements, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accused Armenia of “large-scale provocation” and bombardment of Azerbaijani army positions.
