In the third round of the Premier League, “Leicester” achieved an incredible landslide victory over “Manchester City” (2: 5). The protagonist of the meeting was Jamie Vardy, who scored a hat-trick. The second part promised to be the same: Leicester gave the space and the ball to the City, but the townspeople are unable to create anything. Without Ferna, “City” immediately fell apart. Rodri stopped dealing with the opponent’s attacks and, most importantly, the terrifying lack of play in the City defense was exposed. Vardy scored an instant second, completing another perfect Leicester counter. After this, the match “City” became a mess, Garcia and Mendy brought another penalty. Both penalties were converted by Vardy and Thielemans, and Maddison put a crazy long shot between them. To all this incessant torrent of goals, “City” responded only with a goal from Ake after a corner.
As a result, 2: 5. “Leicester” unbelievably performed almost all of his moments, but this is not detracting. “Manchester City” should take urgent measures to improve pressure and play defense, otherwise “Liverpool” runs the risk of winning another title without competition.
