After tense and exciting clashes in the framework of Saturday’s part of the fourth round of the Ukrainian Premier League, no less interesting fights were expected on the next calendar day. It happened at the beginning of the new season that at the time of the head-to-head confrontation on the field of the Lviv stadium “Ukraine”, PFC “Lviv” and Lugansk “Zarya” were in neighboring positions in the basement of the ranking. The only difference is that Georgiy Tsetsadze’s team have yet to score points in their two previous matches.
For an unidentified reason, the Lviv head coach was not in the technical zone for the reporting game. Perhaps, this may be the reason why viewers and announcers found out about the line-ups of the teams in play only the moment they entered the football field. That day it rained heavily in Lviv, so the players had to urgently get used to the grass at the legendary stadium.

As a general rule, “Zarya” was enough to score a successful flank pass, at the end of which one of the attackers would surely correctly choose a position in someone else’s penalty area.
After the break, the guests to the meeting did not need to think about such an offensive game, and their rivals could only take care of the departing train. The Golden Lions attacked and seized the ball even more opponents in the second half, which is due to the deep rotation, whose line Skripnik drew from the break. However, the head coach of “Zorya” reassured himself on defense, releasing substitute goalkeeper Vasil, motivated to compete with Shevchenko. It was on Nikola’s shoulders that the duty of keeping his team’s gates intact fell, and after several successful saves, he managed to carry the game into his first formally “dry” match for the club. Everything went well for the “men” that night, but something incomprehensible is happening within the Lviv team.
In the next round, PFC Lviv will play the first derby in their history nominally away from home against Rukh, and Zorya Luhansk will fight at NSC Olimpiyskiy with Dynamo Kiev. At the same time, the “golden lions” will face a midweek showdown within the 1/16 final of the Ukrainian Cup. Georgy Tsetsadze’s team will play an away match with Vorskla Poltava.
