Azerbaijan launched a large-scale military offensive against Armenia. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan on Sunday, September 27.

In particular, the capital of Karabakh, Stepanakert, suffered an artillery attack.

“This is a war of life and death, and we will all fight. We will fight with the whole nation and we will all win together,” the Nagorno-Karabakh chief said.

The Azerbaijani authorities explained their actions with provocations from Armenia, but in Armenia they say that the counter-offensive was planned in advance by the Azerbaijani military forces.

In turn, Turkey has already announced its support for Azerbaijan in the conflict with Armenia.

“We strongly condemn Armenia’s attack on Azerbaijan. Armenia broke the ceasefire by attacking civilian settlements and demonstrating once again that it is opposed to peace and stability. The international community must immediately stop these dangerous provocations.” set The Turkish President’s spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, on Twitter.

The official added that Ankara supports Baku “in light of these attacks.”
