In mid-September, a small amount of water still remained in the Tanasu River, but in the third decade of September the canal dried up.

In annexed Crimea in the Belogorsk region, the Tanasu River, a tributary of the Biyuk-Karasu River, whose waters filled the Belogorsk Reservoir, dried up. A nearby freshwater pond has also become shallow and dry, Crimea.Realii reports on Saturday, September 26.

According to neighbors, in mid-September there was still a small amount of water in the Tanasu River, but in the third decade of September the canal dried up.

In addition, in the village of Kirpichnoe, Belogorsk district, for the first time in many years, a pond dried up completely, which served as a watering hole for livestock and a fishing ground for residents of the surrounding settlements.

“A very dry and hot September wipes out the remaining bodies of water. This month, not only the Tanasu River, but also our pond has dried up. Veterans don’t remember it either. Wells are emptying too. Something terrible is happening. and it scares us. Every day we are all more concerned about the water situation, “said a resident of the town of Kirpichnoe, who did not give his name for security reasons.

Let us remind you that in mid-July the Biyuk-Karasu River turned into a stream. Because of this, the Belogorsk reservoir was about to dry up.

And in September it became known that in the Crimea the Russian army blocked the Biyuk-Karasu river below the Belogorsk reservoir to pump water to Simferopol.

It was also reported that in Simferopol, black water flows from taps in apartments for several days.
