On the state of thieves
Chuguev. An-26. You already know everything. Already now there are candles in the avatars and tearful speeches of politicians of all kinds, from the district level to the first. The first, by the way, will be in the Kharkiv region today. Well, and without him? The country should know (on the eve of the elections) how Ze cares about the army and the air force. Then a magnificent funeral, assurances of eternal memory and … and, in fact, that’s it. The elite scatter to their feeders.
But let’s be clear: the fall of the AN-26 is a pattern. No, it may not have crashed yesterday. It could have crashed the day before yesterday. Or tomorrow. But when any technique is over 40 years old, it is doomed to be influenced at some point.
And what has the Ukrainian state created / acquired over the years for its Air Force? Nothing. Ukraine does NOT have an air force. Ukraine owns exclusively Soviet aircraft: fighter, bomber, transport, training, and the entire line is manufactured in the USSR.
Yes, we are carrying out some kind of modernization of the aircraft fleet. By the way, they began to do it from the time of Yanukovych. The MiG-29 was chiseled to the level of the MiG-29 MU-1, the Czechoslovakian training L-39 was brought to the L-39M1, the Su-25 to the Su-25M1, and so on. They are installing new avionics and weapons. This is an absolutely normal world practice, because it is done all over the world. Each aircraft released during its lifetime is re-chemized several times.
But repairing one acquired 40 years ago without buying / producing new types of equipment is a dead end. Yes, there are perfect systems that, even after 50 years, the design idea could not radically exceed. Like the Americans they have the B-52 “Stratofortress” or the Russian Tu-160, which a couple of years ago started to produce a new one again.
But again, not a single aviation powerhouse in the world has been repairing the same aircraft for 40 years in a row without acquiring / creating entirely new ones. Moldova or Burundi can afford it, but they don’t call themselves aviation powers.
Another question: is it expensive to be an aviation powerhouse? Really expensive. Shit. One hour of flight in the MiG-29 is equivalent to 3.5 tons of aviation fuel. And for a cadet to become a pilot, he needs to fly at least 500 hours. The training of a pilot is a condition. And in Ukraine there are fewer military pilots than very rare specimens of animals in the “Red Book”. At the same time, Ukraine will not raise 40 fighter jets today. Because there are no pilots.
And we are only talking about basic operation. How much does it cost to buy a new plane, say, a fighter? From $ 30 million and up as your heart desires. That is, a fighter like the Swedish “Gripen” will cost 800 grivasiks lamas.
So military aviation is incredibly expensive. But then another question: is it really necessary? But this is a question from the Captain’s Manual. All modern armed conflicts have been won by those who control the airspace. Everybody. Exceptions – 0. Yugoslavia, Iraq, the August war with Georgia, the overthrow of Gaddafi in Libya, the annexation of Crimea and the preservation of the Assad regime in Syria – aviation was of key importance everywhere. And, on the contrary, the war in Donbass with Ukraine’s forced refusal to use aviation after the summer of 14, finally moved the conflict to a positional one with no prospect of a military solution. Any country with signs of subjectivity develops combat aviation.
And here is Ukraine. Yes, we do not worry about subjectivity for a long time, just as we do not worry about questions of honor and dignity of a district girl. We were raised in the movie “Pretty Woman” and we have grown a whole galaxy of believers in an American with the appearance of Richard Gere.
But still, on such black days, questions arise with exhausted cadets. Why was there no money for them for a new plane, but is there money for Kobolev’s salary, who receives a million a day? Why do we find more than a billion money, our money, for the salaries of the supervisory board members? Why do we spend five feet a year on “suspense television”, which no one in this country watches, including those mediocre who work there? Why do we keep quietly watching as money continues to drip from the budget for the Sawn Loam from the Yatsenyuk Walls? Why did they cut 30 yards of hryvnia from the fund to covid on roads with incomprehensible contractors and very understandable bribes? Why is there money to double the salaries of the members of the rate regulator NKREKP, which exceed 700 lamas? Why is 5 yards spent a year at NABU, which cannot investigate and take anything to court?
All this “why” is the cost of the lives of the deceased cadets. They have already become kamikazes and have decided to become military pilots in a state of thieves. There cannot be military aviation in a robber state, because it contradicts the essence of a robber state. Aviation is very expensive. It is impossible to build an air force and steal SO at the same time.
The state of the thieves can only tell us about the “country at war.” But in a truly belligerent country there can be no polished faces of Kobolev or Smilyansky.
Whats Next? You yourself know what will happen next. The mothers of the dead will cry until their last days. And the owners of pretentious avatar candles will erect the Everest of pathos and from Monday they will disperse according to their sweet plans. There is still a long time to steal. And none of the authorities will say when the country will start buying / producing new planes.
