The National Bank established official exchange rates for Monday

On the interbank market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale increased by 3 kopecks, up to 28.31 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate on purchase also increased by 3 kopecks, 28.29 hryvnia per dollar.

On Monday, September 28, the National Bank of Ukraine lowered the hryvnia rate by almost 2 kopecks against the dollar, but it strengthened by almost 2 kopecks against the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Friday, September 25.

Therefore, the official dollar rate rose to its highest level since the beginning of 2020. The highest rate was the last time on January 13, 2019: 28.27015 hryvnia per dollar.

The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:

– 100 US dollars – 2826.73 hryvnia (+0.0186 UAH)

– 100 euros – 3,287.63 hryvnia (-0.0179 UAH).

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale increased by 3 kopecks, up to 28.31 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate on the purchase also increased by 3 kopecks, 28.29 hryvnia per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale increased by 3 kopecks to 32.94 hryvnia per euro.

Remember that on September 25, the National Bank reduced the official exchange rate of the hryvnia by almost 6 kopecks, to 28.24 hryvnia to the dollar.

Earlier, the National Bank explained the current decline in the hryvnia by a seasonal factor. This situation was in every year, with the exception of the past, which turned out to be specific, explained the deputy head of the NBU Dmitry Sologub.
