According to the investigation, the Popular Deputy in a veiled way requested a bribe of $ 13 thousand through an intermediary

As a preventive measure, an electronic location control bracelet was placed on the deputy.

Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Yurchenko left the remand center after posting bail of 3.1 million UAH. This was announced on Friday, September 25, by the spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Olga Postolyuk in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

According to her, as a measure of restraint, the deputy was put on an electronic location control bracelet.

Previously, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court detained the property of Yurchenko, suspected of taking bribes. The seizure was imposed on the MP’s cash and real estate to ensure future seizure.

As reported, People’s Deputy Yurchenko is suspected of receiving illegal profits and incitement to bribery. But he does not admit the charges against him. The people’s deputy has already been expelled from the Servant of the People faction.

Earlier, Yurchenko’s assistant, Ivan Fischenko, was arrested in this case. But the next day, he deposited 1.5 million hryvnia and was released on bail.
