More than 45% of Ukrainians support the protesters in Belarus. These data from a sociological survey were published on Thursday, September 24 by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).

“According to the poll, 45.3% of all Ukrainians support the protesters. Lukashenko has the support of 31.3% of the respondents. If there are more than those who support the protesters in the west and the center, in the south and east are those who support A. Lukashenko. ” – says the message.

Another 23.4% of Ukrainians had difficulty responding.

KIIS also investigated support for the protests in Belarus by voters from various political forces. Thus, 48.7% of the voters of the Servant of the People party in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada support the protesters, 29.9% – Lukashenka. Among the voters of the European Solidarity, 80.1% support the protesters, 4.3% – Lukashenka. Among the voters of the Opposition Platform – For Life – 12.9% support the protesters, 66.8% – Lukashenka. Among the voters of Batkivshchyna – 52.1% support the protesters, 35.7% – Lukashenka. Among the voters of the Lyashko Radical Party, 51.4% support the protesters, 34.9% – Lukashenka. Among the Sharia Party voters, 15.9% support the protesters, 71.2% support Lukashenka.

The survey was conducted using the CATI method (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers from September 12 to 16, 2020. The survey conducted 2000 interviews. The statistical sampling error does not exceed: 2.2% for indicators close to 50%, 2.1% – for indicators close to 25%, 1.4% – for indicators close to 10%.
