The State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies has determined which quarantine restrictions will be in force in the regions of Ukraine from September 28. The capital of Ukraine has moved into the “yellow” zone.
This was announced on Thursday, September 24, by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, Oleg Nemchinov.
If in “Red” referred area:
- cities Ternopil and the Berezhany Ternopil region;
TO “orange” area included:
- the cities of Volodymyr-Volynsky and Novovolynsk, Volodymyr-Volynsky and Lutsk districts of the Volyn region;
- the city of Ugledar, Donetsk region;
- the Korosten, Luginsky, Lyubarsky and Ovruch city districts of the Zhytomyr region;
- city Uzhhorod and the Uzhgorod district of the Transcarpathian region;
- the cities of the Melitopol and Tokmak, Orekhovsky and Pologovsky districts of the Zaporozhye region;
- Ivano-Frankivsk, Burshtyn, Kalush and Kolomyia, Gorodenkovsky, Kosovsky, Rogatinsky, Tysmenitsky and
- Tlumatsky districts of the Ivano-Frankivsk region;
- Obukhov, Baryshevsky and Kiev-Svyatoshinsky city districts of the Kiev region;
- The Brody, Zolochevsky, Samborsky, Pustomytovsky and Sokalsky districts of the Lviv region;

The rest of the regions, cities and towns of Ukraine are called “green” zone.
Let us also remember the restrictions that correspond to each of the quarantine zones in Ukraine.
“Green”. According to its rules, the use of masks or respirators is mandatory in public buildings; cinemas must operate with a maximum occupancy of 50%; passenger transport is carried out only within the seating areas in transport. Also, nightclubs cannot function in this quarantine zone.
“Yellow”. In addition to the restrictions of the green zone, it provides: the prohibition of visits to social protection institutions where the elderly are, except those that provide services in a crisis.
“Orange”. In addition to the “yellow zone” restrictions, the following are prohibited: the activity of accommodation facilities (hostels, tourist centers, etc.), except hotels; activities of entertainment establishments, night restaurants; planned hospitalizations; gym work, fitness centers, cultural institutions; acceptance of new shifts in children’s camps; Holding massive events with an audience of more than 1 person per 20 square meters and more than 100 people.
“Red”. In addition to the restrictions of the “orange zone”, it provides for the prohibition of public transport, visits to educational institutions, as well as activities in shopping centers, cafes and restaurants.
It is observed that these epidemic levels are established for 14 days.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers once again changed the criteria for coronavirus zoning of Ukraine regions. So, to enter the “red” zone, in a city, town or district, the incidence of Covid-19 must exceed the national average by more than five times.
Recently, the Chief Medical Officer, Viktor Lyashko, spoke about the conditions under which a total quarantine lockdown can be introduced in Ukraine.
