The United States Senate Finance and National Security Committees have released a report on the work of the son of US presidential candidate Joe Biden, Hunter, at the Burisma gas company.
It is reported by Voice of America.
For example, Republican Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Gresley Ron Johnson and Chuck Gresley believe there were conflicts of interest in the work of Biden Jr.
“During the investigation, the committee chairs found that the Obama administration knew that Hunter Biden’s serving on the Burisma board was problematic and hindered the effective implementation of the strategy in Ukraine,” the report says.
It also says that the administration of former US President Barack Obama reported the wrongdoing created by the participation of Biden’s son on the Burisma board.
The 87-page report says the US presidential candidate tried to pressure Ukraine in an attempt to fire then-Attorney General Viktor Shokin to stop an investigation into the Burisma government.
The day before, Senator Ron Johnson, who is investigating Biden in Ukraine, said the report “I think will reveal that he should not be elected president of the United States.”
At Biden’s headquarters, the document was criticized and called manipulation, especially released six weeks before the election.
We will recall that the Republicans in the US Senate, in the context of the publication in Ukraine of tapes with the conversations of the probable Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, gave a new direction to the case against his son Hunter. The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs voted to subpoena a witness in the Biden Jr. case.
As reported by “Strana”, the high-profile story with the “Biden-Poroshenko tapes”, which was published by People’s Deputy Andriy Derkach, provoked a violent reaction in the United States before the imminent official start of the electoral race.
