Compared to spring, compulsory military service in fall is almost three thousand less
It was decided to reduce the number of recruits in the fall by fifteen hundred – 13,570 people will go to the army.
The Cabinet of Ministers in a meeting on Wednesday, September 23, approved the autumn draft number for urgent military service: 13,570 people will go to the army.
At the same time, the number of recruits will be 1.5 thousand less than previously expected.
So, in the fall they will be summoned: to be recruited: 7,500 people – in the Armed Forces, 600 people – in the State Special Transportation Service, 4,970 people – in the National Guard, 500 people – in the State Border Service.
65.2 million UAH will be spent on the draft within budget.
Let us remind you that men between the ages of 18 and 27 who do not qualify for exemption from compulsory military service are called up. At the same time, the appeal of citizens aged 18 to 19 will be carried out at their request.
We recall that in early August in Ukraine the spring conscription for military service ended, which was carried out during May – July. 16,460 people were summoned and sent to the troops. The draft plan was 100% fulfilled.
