In Kiev, two people fell through the window of city hospital No. 4, which was focused on treating coronavirus patients, reports 112.ua.
This happened on September 21 and 22. Doctors refused to reveal details of the incidents without an official appeal to the hospital administration. An investigative-operative group left for the place. The police considered the death of one of the victims a suicide.
It was previously known that Ukraine ranked second among European countries in terms of the daily increase in the number of victims of the coronavirus. By Sunday, September 21, this figure was 26 people. In first place was Russia (71 deaths), in third place Romania (23 people).
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy named those responsible for the worsening situation with the coronavirus infection in Ukraine. According to him, certain local authorities wanted to ease the quarantine due to “political games” and preparations for the elections and began to “fight in words” with the central government because it supposedly “tightens the screws.”
