COVID-19 in Ukraine: almost half of beds are occupied

More than 13 thousand coronavirus beds are already occupied

The Ministry of Health considers that the current situation with the coronavirus is quite tense.

The head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Maxim Stepanov, said that more than 13 thousand beds are occupied in hospitals in the country, of the 30 thousand planned for patients with coronavirus. This was announced on Monday, September 21, on the air of the ICTV channel.

In this sense, the situation with the epidemic is, according to him, quite tense.

“We consider the situation to be quite tense. Due to the 30,000 beds provided for coronavirus patients, 13,108 were occupied this morning,” the minister said.

Previously, the Ministry of Health calculated the number of patients and hospitalized with COVID-19. The dynamics turned out to be negative.

As reported, 25 doctors resigned from the Kharkov hospital when the medical center began accepting coronavirus patients.
