The first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, Vitold Fokin, said that he could leave the TCG in a month and named a condition for this. He said this on the air of the Ukrainian radio.

Fokin noted that he could leave the TCG not because “now they are rinsing themselves in the mud.”

“This will not break me. But if I do not receive the support of the authorities, I will be forced to leave. Although I know that many people will be disappointed, because they trust me and expect positive decisions from me,” said Fokin.

He also commented on the time when he can leave the TCG.

“I do not recognize the language of the ultimatum. We must always seek a compromise. But in fact, if no one listens to my individual proposals for a month, I will probably think about it,” Fokin added, commenting on the terms of his resignation.

Earlier, Fokin, in an interview with one of the publications, said that it allows a total amnesty for separatists in Donbass, as well as a special status for the entire territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. And when his words provoked violent criticism, he said that representatives of the current government criticize him because they have a connection with his “predecessors.”

Fokin also said that he agreed to join the TCG after requests from people from ORDLO.
