In Ukraine, a new division into zones according to COVID

The Ministry of Health eliminated the rule on the prohibition of transport in public transport in the “orange” zone when 50% of the seats are occupied

According to the new epidemic risk criteria in the “red” zone, there is no single regional center.

The new quarantine zoning began operating in Ukraine on Monday, September 21. This was reported by the RBC-Ukraine edition.

According to the new criteria for epidemic risk in the “red” zone, there is no single regional center. There are the cities of Chop of the Transcarpathian region, Slavuta and the Volochissky district of the Khmelnitsky region, Nizhyn and the Nosovsky district of the Chernigov region.

Also in the “red” zone are the city of Berezhany, the Zalishchitsky, Zbarazhsky and Ternopil districts of the Ternopil region, Kaniv, the Cherkasy region, the Sambir and Pustomytovsky districts of the Lviv region, the districts of Hertsevsky and Kelmenetsky from the Chernivtsi region.

Public transportation, shopping centers, cafes and restaurants are prohibited in the “red” zone.

The “orange” zone includes Kiev, Vinnitsa, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankovsk, Sumy, Ternopil.

It is forbidden to work in hostels and resorts, restaurants, night clubs, fitness centers and gyms, parts of cultural institutions, children’s camps. Mass gatherings were also prohibited: more than 100 people.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health removed the provision on the prohibition of transportation by public transport in the “orange” zone when 50% of the seats are occupied.

In the “yellow” zone are Lutsk, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Cherkasy, Chernigov, Zaporozhye, Lvov, Nikolaev. In this area it is forbidden to visit social security institutions where older people are (except those that provide services).

As previously reported, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has updated the list of countries with a difficult epidemiological situation, including 47 countries. Ukraine itself remained on the green list.
