In the Kharkiv region, a 17-year-old boy in a pond dam beat a 32-year-old man, threw him into a pond, took a wooden stick and drowned him.

As reported on the website of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, the incident occurred on September 18 at around 22:00 in the village of Slobozhanskoye. The man’s body was found on September 19 at 12:55 pm on the shore of the reservoir.

The report says that a minor struck the victim in the pond’s dam, then threw him into the pond, took a wooden stick and began to drown him. A 16-year-old resident of Kazatskoye village and a 19-year-old resident of Antonovka village were also present when the crime was committed.

The police seized the physical evidence from the place and the attacker’s apartment.

On this fact, the investigator opened a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of art. 115 (premeditated homicide) and part 1 of art. 186 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The 17-year-old suspect was arrested under art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. According to the sanction of the article, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, a 57-year-old farmer was found dead in the Kherson region, whom his relatives had been searching for since June 14.
