Balukh is still unconscious
The day before the suspect in the Balukh beating, they arrested him and today they arrested him. He admitted his guilt.
The Dneprovsky District Court of Kiev on Saturday, September 19, detained the suspect in the beating of Volodymyr Balukh for two months, the press secretary of the Kiev prosecutor’s office, Nadezhda Maksimets, said on Facebook.
“At the request of the prosecutor of the Kiev local prosecutor’s office N4, the Dneprovsky district court arrested for 2 months the suspect of causing serious injury to Volodymyr Balukh. The court did not determine an alternative to arrest,” he said.
The chairman of the capital prosecutor’s office said a 32-year-old unemployed resident of the Kiev region admits his guilt and turned down a lawyer.
The accused pointed out that the conflict with the victim “developed at the domestic level.”
The actions of the suspect are qualified in the article on intentional bodily injury, which endangers life at the time of infliction (part 1 of article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
