The Judiciary has suffered significant damage from the content of the records, which, according to NABU, were carried out in the office of the OASK holder.
The plenary of the Supreme Court said that the judiciary suffered significant damage from the content of the searches made, according to NABU, in the office of the president of the Kiev District Administrative Court, Pavel Vovk. The corresponding statement from the Plenary on Friday, September 18, was released by the press service of the Supreme Court.
“The legal assessment of these files can only be given in a procedural manner when a substantive criminal process is considered in the event that they are subjected to trial. However, the Plenary of the Supreme Court is forced to state that the judiciary has suffered significant damage by the content of these files. This carries the risk of a serious violation of values, on which an independent and fair court is built, and denies the daily efforts of thousands of judges to increase the confidence of citizens in court, “the statement said.
The Plenary of the Supreme Court also called on all judges to demonstrate high standards of justice and ethical behavior, independence and impartiality in decision-making in all their actions and deeds.
We will recall, in July, NABU released audio recordings of conversations allegedly judges of the Kiev District Administrative Court, which appear in the case of judicial interference in the work of other authorities.
However, despite this, the Higher Council of Justice refused to remove the judges of the Kiev Administrative Court, who appeared in the case.
