MLS Inter Miami announced the signing of a contract with an experienced forward Gonzalo Higuaín, who recently left Juventus for Turin.
There is no information on the terms of the contract. Higuain, 32, will partner with another former Juventus player, Blaise Matuidi, who recently moved to Miami.
Higuaín did not play well last season at Juventus (3 goals in Serie A), and before he played on loan at Chelsea and Milan.
He also played for Real Madrid and Napoli. The most successful was the 2015/16 season at Naples, when the Argentine scored 38 goals. He won the Italian and Spanish championships three times, became the 2014 World Cup runner-up and was a 2017 Champions League finalist.
The club is owned by a group of investors led by David Beckham.
