Ministry of Health allowed not conducting COVID-19 tests after isolation
Such an option will be available to those who, after two weeks of self-isolation, do not present symptoms of the disease, the Ministry of Health decided.
In Ukraine, it was allowed not to perform a PCR test for coronavirus after the expiration of the self-isolation period. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, in a briefing on Friday, September 18.
According to the minister, if a person has symptoms of COVID-19, then they turn to their family doctor, who then calls a mobile team, which performs a test. Then he had to do the test after self-isolation.
“We have changes. If a person has been in self-isolation for 14 days and has no symptoms, then there is no need to do a PCR test for coronavirus. If a person goes to a planned hospitalization, they also do not need a PCR test,” he explained Stepanov.
Remember that there are more than 3,200 new coronavirus infections in Ukraine. Now 90 thousand Ukrainians are sick with coronavirus. During the last day, their number increased by 1,587.
