During the past day, the coronavirus in Ukraine was found in 3584 people, 60 deaths were recorded, 1589 patients were recovered.
This is evidenced in the NSDC data as of Thursday morning, September 17.
In Ukraine, a new anti-registration was recorded in the number of COVID-19 infection cases per day. The previous highest value was set on September 11, then 3,144 people fell ill.
In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 166,244 people fell ill, of which 73,913 recovered, deaths – 3400.
At the moment, cases of coronavirus disease have been detected:
- Vinnytsia region – 5039 cases;
- Volyn region – 6593 cases;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 3653 cases;
- Donetsk region: 2272 cases;
- Zhytomyr region – 4656 cases;
- Transcarpathic region: 8,931 cases;
- Zaporizhzhya region – 2673 cases;
- Ivano-Frankivsk region: 11,856 cases;
- Kirovograd region: 951 cases;
- Kiev – 18,449 cases;
- Kiev region – 7342 cases;
- Lviv region: 17,664 cases;
- Lugansk region: 689 cases;
- Mykolaiv region: 2252 cases;
- Odessa region: 10,602 cases;
- Poltava region – 1363 cases;
- Rivne region: 10,797 cases;
- Sumy region: 2724 cases;
- Ternopil region – 10,394 cases;
- Kharkov region: 13,915 cases;
- Kherson region: 737 cases;
- Khmelnytsky region – 4198 cases;
- Chernivtsi region: 12,640 cases;
- Cherkasy region: 2820 cases;
- Chernihiv region – 3034 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are absent.
The government extended the quarantine until October 31, with a softening starting on May 22. The approach to soften or strengthen quarantine remained adaptive, but the principle of region allocation was changed to strengthen quarantine measures.
The country was divided into four zones according to the level of danger of the spread of the coronavirus. Each of them has a certain number of restrictions.
The new quarantine rules went into effect on August 3. The decision to divide the country into zones will be reviewed every 7 days.
