His Ukrainian counterpart Leonid Kravchuk argued that TCG members stated that the ceasefire in Donbas was observed on July 27.
At a meeting of the trilateral contact group on the resolution of the conflict in Donbass, Ukraine in fact rejected the agreement on additional measures to control the ceasefire, which was signed on July 22. This was stated by the head of the Russian delegation to the TCG Boris Gryzlov, reports TASS.
According to him, the Ukrainian side again rejected today a joint inspection of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which “only confirms the existence of violations.”
According to Gryzlov, in fact, this refusal means the withdrawal of Ukraine from the armistice agreement of July 22, and the whole complex of additional measures “will have to be discussed again.”
The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, Leonid Kravchuk, stated that on September 16, TCG members declared that the ceasefire had been observed in Donbass, despite “some provocative bombardments by illegal armed groups.”

On September 10, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry announced that the inspection had been canceled due to the fact that the invaders were unprepared for Ukraine’s “constructive and common sense” position. The ministry and the Office of the President of Ukraine reported that Kiev Received from the militants a large number of new lawsuits and claimsthat contradict and violate previously reached agreements.
On September 11, Kravchuk expressed hope that the inspection of the Ukrainian positions near Shumy could take place in a few days.
