Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko revealed the details of the talks with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Their meeting took place on September 14 in the Russian city of Sochi.

During the conversations between the two leaders, which lasted more than 4 hours, they discussed energy, market access and regional cooperation issues.
Lukashenko also spoke about the $ 1.5 billion loan that Russia will provide to Belarus.
“The Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance offered to repay this loan. that we are not paying those billion this year, we keep it and postpone it to next year. The percentage is acceptable. I mean, it’s a refinancing issue, “Lukashenko said.
Lukashenka and Putin paid special attention to cooperation in the military-industrial and defense complex.
Let us remind you that during the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, the former said that Russia would grant Belarus a credit of 1.5 billion dollars. According to him, the finance ministers of both countries “are working on this at a professional level.”
Later, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia would make a loan to Belarus without additional political conditions.
