The American leader admitted that he is not a fan of the World Trade Organization.
US President Donald Trump announced an action against the WTO over the loss of Washington in a trade dispute with Beijing. He announced it on Tuesday, September 15 at a briefing at the White House.
“We will have to do something about the WTO, as it allows China to get away with it,” Trump said.
He also said that he does not have much confidence in this organization.
“I am not a big fan of the WTO, I can tell you right away,” admitted the head of the White House.
Recall, the WTO panel concluded that the increase in tariffs on the importation of Chinese products into the United States is contrary to the rules of the organization. The American side could not bring the opposite.
