According to the NABU, Yurchenko demanded a bribe to amend the waste bill. One of the office detectives contacted the middleman Yurchenko, the author of the project, who posed as an employee of an industrial company interested in adopting a law on waste in an altered state.
The mediator introduced the detective to Oleksandr Yurchenko, who said that he was the initiator of the waste bill and that all matters related to the amendments were “closed”.
In a conversation with Yurchenko, the office detective said that he was allegedly interested in the subject of the tariffication of certain biomasses in the “green tariff”. To this, the people’s deputy said that he was one of those people, thanks to whom the first reading of the bill took place and “the history of the garbage issue in Ukraine in general began to move.”
During the conversation, Yurchenko conditioned his support on the need to transfer a monetary reward, disguising it as “environmental assistance” and “buns”.
Then the mediator entered the conversation: he warned the detective about the need to transfer the reward, calling it “buns.”

Following this conversation, a message from an intermediary with the desired amount reached the NABU detective’s mobile phone. The detective confirmed his willingness to pay it, after which the draft amendments were recorded.
On August 7, as part of the operation, the detective transferred $ 13,000 to the intermediary, 10,000 of which was destined for the People’s Congressman himself. The video shows how the intermediary began to recalculate the amount received.
In addition, the people’s deputy told the detective that in order for the parliament to adopt the necessary changes, he must transfer $ 200,000 in parts to it and, in the future, guarantee the transfer of 3% of the shares of the authorized capital of a foreign company that is will build in Ukraine.
As a result, the mediator was prosecuted, and the materials and the draft suspicion of the popular deputy were sent to the Attorney General’s Office, since only she can prosecute the popular deputy.

However, Attorney General Irina Venediktova says there is still no reason to announce Yurchenko’s suspicions. “Is it possible to raise the question of charging the Popular Deputy for the facts previously established in the current stage of the investigation?
