The head of state invited Austrian investors to participate in tenders for the concession and privatization of five ports and several state banks.

The Ukrainian authorities are considering the possibility of transferring the ports of Chornomorsk and Berdyansk to concession, as well as the privatization of three other ports. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an official visit to Austria.

He noted that he would be pleased to see representatives of Austria in the tenders for the concession of ports and the privatization of state banks in Ukraine.

He added that, as part of his visit, he will invite Austrian companies to present experience, technologies and investments in large projects in Ukraine: the construction of new roads, tunnels, ski infrastructure, energy, waste processing and many other areas.

Zelensky also drew attention to the project to extend the wide railway from Uzhgorod through Slovakia to Vienna. “This route will greatly simplify and accelerate the transit of goods from Asia to Austria and the EU,” he said.

Zelenskiy also spoke about the personal support of international investors and recalled the project of the so-called investment nannies, thanks to which any foreign investor who is willing to invest $ 30 million receives favorable conditions for the payment of VAT, state guarantees and an administrator. apart.

“We treat each investor like a pearl. I find myself often if problems arise and monitor their solutions,” Zelensky emphasized.

He also said that a bill on inland waterway transport has already been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, which will create additional incentives to attract investors.

Remember that today Zelensky made his first visit abroad since March: to Austria.

It was previously reported that Ukraine and Austria signed a series of bilateral agreements. The agreements concern the support of children and families in the Kharkiv and Lugansk regions, as well as the deepening of cooperation between the Kiev region and Lower Austria.
