Italian specialist Carlo Nicolini signed a two-year contract with Shakhtar and became assistant football director Dario Srny.
Nicoli said: “This is real happiness! I am very happy to be here again. Shakhtar is my sporty and hardworking family. I constantly followed the team’s performances. It seems that he did not leave Shakhtar at all during these four years. Carlo Nicolini for 12 years, from 2004 to 2016, worked at Shakhtar as a physical trainer. Together with the club, he won 22 trophies: the UEFA Cup, 8 league titles, 6 cups and 7 Ukrainian super cups.
