A demonstration in support of protesters in Belarus took place on the Independence Square in Kiev. About 100 people participated in the action.
This was reported by Radio Liberty.
The participants of the action arrived with Belarusian flags and posters. They shouted: “Belarus is alive”, “Go” and “Lukashenka – to the cart of rice fields”. The protesters also sang songs by the Lyapis Trubetskoy group.
Participants unfurled a large white, red and white flag and walked through the central streets of Kiev to the Belarusian embassy.
Let us remind you that yesterday several dozen people marched in support of Belarusian women in Kiev.
It should be noted that today in Belarus people came out on the 36th day of protests. According to the most recent information from the local Interior Ministry, more than 400 people were arrested during the protests in Minsk alone.
Also RBC-Ukraine wrote that in the Vitebsk region the security forces detained 14 protesters, their actions are being legally evaluated.
In addition, a water cannon was used against protesters in Brest. As explained in the Ministry of the Interior, these types of measures were taken in relation to “a serious threat to road safety.” According to eyewitnesses, after that, the security forces began harshly detaining the protesters.
